Stanford Achievement Test and COGAT

Hi Readers,
I wanted to give an update.  Along with Stanford Achievement Test,  your child may also be given CogAT test. Stanford Achievement Test is an achievement test and it  measures academic skills where as  CogAT is an abilities test and  measures reasoning skills.

I gathered and prepared information for CogAT- Cognitive Abilities Test, which is a widely used test for identifying gifted students,  and  I am in process of  sharing that info under  COGAT blog

This CogAT info may be useful if your children is planning to take CogAT test in order to receive gifted services at school

Fantastic overview! As a student, I've encountered cognitive abilities test in various academic settings, and it's interesting to see how they not only assess academic performance but also cognitive skills crucial for real-world success.
